cant decide on turbo

guys, i need help to get a new turbo on my car. i mainly use for dd with some spirit driving. my engine is currently in the middle of build along with the Kozmic economy full race kit for sst. my primary choise was FP Red BB, but too bad they are discontiuned. my goal is at 400-450 on both whp and tq without loosing to much spool (400 mutang dyno, 450 dynojet), i had narrow down to below choices and I also listed pro and con based on my research. also, i will run the car in pump gas only as e85 are not available in my town. i already had all supporting mods, just need to decide on turbo.

MHI 18k-safest route to go, but it will not reach my goal on pump and it is not bb.
EF3-good option all around, good power even with pump gas, but its not bb.
EF4-size of the fp black, but with slower spool. also not bb
BBX Full BB-a bit pricy, slightly bigger than MHI. hard to reach my goal with 91oct
BBX full- about the same price as EF turbo, but not better than BB version
GTX3076r- alternative for the fp red, but slower spool. laggy compare to the fp red
GTX3576r-almost the same spool as 3076 with better top end. laggy a bit.

Are you building the head as well, or just the block?

Your perfect turbo might be a T3 5858.

I was look at the AGP t3 kit. but i am afraid to put a trigger for it because there are 50/50 review for this. and I can't afford for $5k kit now, thats why i am looking for stock frame turbo only.

I wish that I knew more about the EF-series turbos to comment on their reliability/etc. With a built head, you should be fine with a JB turbo. The bearing only really comes into play at higher boost levels. Since you have that lightning fast transmission, I would get the EF4. Make sure not to get that anti-surge crap that doesn't work. You also want a FULL 3" intake in the housing. When you get it, make sure that the turbine housing doesn't overlap the gasket (port as necessary). I would also have someone port your exhaust manifold (and ceramic coat it). If you are having port work done on the head, make sure that the bowls transition nicely into your manifold. This makes all the difference in the world, believe me.

Get an FP red, you can get it with a stock core. You won't be disappointed!

A GTX3576R should hit your target power. If you're willing to give up some power for spool, consider the smaller GTX3071R. I will be more in the low-400whp range (dynojet) vs your goal of 450whp.

This MR made 373whp on a Mustang with stock cams (fully modded otherwise) on 93 octane with the GTX3071R and the 0.94 A/R turbine housing. So with cams, it should be close to 400whp on a Mustang.

Let me put it to you this way:

My entire intake system (IC, UICP, LICP, CAI) are all AGP. I have been extremely happy with all of them thus far and wouldn't hesitate to buy their T3 kit. I like the idea of a cast manifold, anyways.
