Exhaust hole

Hey guys,
Had my car in northeast for a few years, looks like it finally kicked me in the pants. I want to know an efficient, cost effective way to fix this. Any ideas welcome.

If the hole isn't to big weld an 02 bung over it then plug it.

The problem with welding that up is it is already rusty. I would either find a used exhaust or use this time to upgrade to aftermarket.
