I just installed my TWM full cage replacement short shifter and now I'm having trouble shifting to 2nd. It feels like something is stopping it from moving onto 2nd. Reverse is also tough but it will go into reverse. Everything was working fine before the install. Even if I do get it into 2nd it feels like it will pop out. I am going to check to make sure nothing is caught in the linkage in the morning. Is there any other suggestions?

Turns out the shift cables were not seated properly.
