Hey guys, recently my 08 gsr has been idling really rough. It only happens about once every week or so and then goes away after 30 seconds or so. And then twice last week i went to start it and it wouldn't. Seemed to me like it wasn't picking up any fuel even though I had well over half of a tank both times. So I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced either or both of these problems? Thanks!

 

Look into the fuel relay. Lots of information on the forum and Evo X owners switching theirs out for the new oem ones, that may be a cause of your issues.

 

Pull codes. Then drive to autozone or somewhere and have them load test your battery. Swap fuel pump relay with daytime running light relay, or hi beam flasher relay. And check for vaccum leaks, especially the hose going from intake manifold to fuel rail on the left side of the engine. If none of that works, pull fuel injectors and send off for cleaning and check spark plugs for fouling. Good luck.
