Hey guys, so the other day I got the dreaded P2096 CEL. Mods are in my sig. I've had the car for about 3 months now and never got the CEL til 2 days ago. Still runs fine and AFRs on the WB are good. The light being on really bugs me and need to get it resolved before smog time comes obviously. Did a search and didn't really find too much helpful info. Anybody have good suggestions on what it could be exactly? I hate to just go throwing money at it all *****-nilly replacing O2 sensors and whatnot...

 

Well I inspected for/remedied any boost and vacuum leaks as best as I could, cleaned my intake filter, fresh tank of gas with some injector cleaner, cleared the code by pulling the neg battery cable and did the idle relearn procedure. It's been almost a week and hasn't come back :knock on wood:
Hopefully it was just a random thing.
