Oil filter gasket blowing out

Had a 6262 ball bearing turbo blow on me... just swapped in a 6262 journal turbo (brand new) until the ball bearing is rebuilt by precision.

I drained the oil and refilled after the swap.

Before the swap everything worked great. After the swap not so much.

Idling the car is fine, up to 4k the car is fine. If I bring it to 7k and go 6k, 7k, 6k etc. The o ring on the oil filter blows out and I loose quite a bit of oil very quickly.

The turbo came with a blocked oil input, I didn't see anything blocking the drain side (anyone know off the top of their heads if precision blocks off the drain with something far inside that I missed?)

I tried a different filter... same thing. I do not have an oil pressure gauge so I don't know what it is. (bosch 3312 filter)

Anything incredibly obvious I'm missing? I assume there is something causing a blockage and pressure increase. The only mechanical difference is the turbo.

There is no gasket on the block side of the oil filter, right? (Here's what I'm looking at)
