so i bought an aem oil pressure gauge. in the past on other vehicles ive used sandwich plates for an oil pressure gauge. i have been looking around on the forum and havent seen very many people using them on the evos. how do they work on our cars? i have read that there is fitament issues with the sandwich plate on. What are other people with oil pressure gauges doing? taping into oil pan?

 

There is a plug on the oil filter block. I installed my sensor there. Just remove plug, and install sensor. You will need an adapter IIRC. It was BSP but I do not remember the exact size. No plate or tapping needed.
