oil pressure gauge vs fuel pressure gauge
I believe in order to run a fuel pressure gauge, you need to have an aftermarket fuel rail. From what I've read, there is no where to tap the sensor for a fuel pressure sensor.
Go with the Oil pressure.

I was planning on boost and fuel pressure gauges on the steering column. It seems to me that it's a lot more likely for your fuel pump to start going south than to start losing oil pressure. On a track the oil pressure might be nice to make sure you aren't losing pressure in long sweepers though.
So no one has installed a FP gauge with the factory rail? There's got to be a way to do that. I haven't really looked at it yet.

To use the stock fuel rail and tap in a fuel pressure gauge you will need one of these http://www.pruvenperformance.com/evofuel.html .BTW,
go with the fuel pressure gauge, alot more important when tuning your car IMHO.Your idiot light will come on if you lose oil pressure, but the only indication that you are losing fuel pressure besides your car running crappy is detonation=burned piston over long periods of time

How reliable is the warning light though? I'm actually in the same dilema and when I think about it, higher EGT will show me fuel delivery problems but it might not necessary mean my pump is dying out which I think fuel pressure gauge might help detecting.
