DW65c E85 Support Questions
DW65c E85 Support Questions
I'm sorry for starting another fuel pump thread and/or DW65c thread, but upgrading fuel systems is not my strength. I will be transitioning to E85 in the next few months, and I need a little help...
Evo X - Used as a daily driver with stock turbo, stock block, full bolt-ons, and ID1000cc injectors (not yet installed, but purchased).
-Will the DW65c provide enough E85 flow to support ~400 hp?
-What other items, such as an E85 safe fuel sock, should be purchased for long-term use with this pump? (links to specific products, or enough information where a google search could provide exact products, would be greatly appreciated)
-If I am completely off base with the DW65c, what product(s) are recommended? (I'd prefer to stick with the DW65c if it will fit the performance requirement)

Looks like you're off to a good start with the ID1000.
I've read mixed reviews about DW65c(aka Doesn't Work65c lol) So I personally did not go with that pump. I went with Walbro 255 and bought a MAP kit, includes sock, lines etc.
But if you do decide to go with DW, yes it's enough to support 400hp.
To run E85 you need: pump, lines(optional), injectors, filter and stations that have E85 around.
