The power levels he seems to be shooting for, and projected use of the car, would necessitate a built motor.

sorry for late response,
First maxing out my fic1100 by 500hpish and 255walbro,then my fic 1650 and my 450walbro started to run lean and we couldn’t figure it outwhy, so I replaced it with a ams fuel rail, radium fuel damper and sent out the fics to get cleaned. And now itsrunning like a champ
I was going to stick with 9:1 but decide on 10:1 to helpout get more power out of the engine and because I will be running e85 most of the time.
The thing that I would have done different are cams. Currentlyhave the tomei poncam, I would have gone with gsc s2 or ams tmp.
I currently have Wiseco pistons 10:1 with coating, BCrods, king bearings, arp studs, tomei poncams, head ported, spec twin disc, kozmic catch can and everything is else is stock.

Dallas, you're funny. "I didn't read anything after investing..." and then commenting on built is not good for DD....car will see 2k miles a year when it's nice outside. ;P

Thanks SDR for the response. I'm leaning towards the built route. Hearing good things about the EFR kit from Driven Fabrication. I also heard EFR is coming out with an upgraded turbo...hard to tell when to jump on.
