Just wondering i have a very noisey transfer case..well i hope it is and not the gearbox also..what causes the whine is it just bearings? Ive been looking at bearing/seal kits and wondering if doing the bearings will kill the whine?c..or could the noise be from the crown wheel etAlso I bought the car knowing about this the owner said he ran the transfer case low on oil as it was leaking.My mate then told me this isn't possibleas it would have drained the gearbox of oil too and my gearbox would be done??Any help would be great
