how can i get my engine to handle more tq

from what i have been reading for a long time is that the rb11t handles safely about 10000000000000000 hp but 400tq is pretty much the safe limit.
so im wondering because i want to daily my evo and have it handle more tq goal would be around 500 and a little under that.

what is some options and what i can i look at to help with this.
hp can be made easily so im not worried of that

You would build the motor with stronger rods and pistons. After that, with even more power you would want to sleeve the block.

just build your bottom end. 400 is the safe number, but a lot will also depend on driving ability and also your tune. wouldn't hurt to add a cam to it and upgrade the valves either.

People will give you numbers from 330tq to 400tq. I have a friend on stock turbo, e85 and all supporting mods making 380/400tq. He beats that car up and visits Mexico quite ofter He's been on that tune for at least 10k miles now and the car is perfect.

Like someone said above. It all depends on the tune and keeping up with the maintenance. Also, don't mash the gas while you're under 3-4k rpm's (I say any gear cause I'm paranoid) other's will say 4th and 5th. Too much torque in the lower rpm's is what hurts the rods, in a nutshell. *Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong
