I just received my Synapse Synchronic DV today, and it looks different than anything else I have seen on the internet. I'm curious as to why it looks different. I read that Synapse has been doing a redesign on the valve.
I'm wondering if I happened to get one of the redesigned valves.
Yes, looks like the new design. I talked to a guy from synapse when they were making the changes. He said they were basically changing the geometry of the casing. That overtime, from heat and stress, the were prone to cracking. Also said they weren't changing internals at all. Not too sure if that was true or not. But anyways, they discontinued the old one a long time ago. Back in May I was told by MAP that they were discontinued.
