Turbo return line issue

My oil return line does not go all the way in and the socket where the bolt goes in is damaged. What would be the best way to go about this? I was reading online and helicoil was highly recommended.

You need to make sure the turbo is clocked correctly (both the turbine and compressor housing have alignment dowels), and make sure the return line isn't bent.

If the bolt hole is messed up, it will likely need to be helicoiled, yes.
