Help with fuel level

Driving home from work my 2010 evo x randomly went to full tank from around 3/4 and the till empty is like 590 miles. Which side under the rear seat is the fuel level sensor ? Hood is open so yellow icon is on for that.

That number is based on your MPG which itself is a multiplier off injector pulse width, injector scaling and average over time.

You probably had a high MPG number right before you filled up. Start driving the car and you will see the number go back to a normal realistic number.

He stated the fuel level jumped from 3/4 to full, which sounds very odd to me.

My only suggestion would to drive it for the next couple days and see if the fuel level/mpg changes. If it doesn't, then look into the problem. If it does, then chalk it up to an oddity?
