Just put in new park plugs. Was doing a test run to make sure everything checked out. Once I got on it a little the car cut out and started making a splappng noise. In First and second I can accelerate. In 3rd the car would just rev. At that point I pulled over and am waiting for a town. Please help
Idk about the slapping noise but if your punching it in 3rd and your sitting in same place as rpms go up your clutch is slipping.
Idk your power or mods but let me recommend a hdss act clutch kit. Stay full face disk and stay away from 6 puck and also stay act dont buy competition clutch.
A hdss will be good for 450 torque and is very near stock comfort. Good luck.

I DD a 6 puck ACT. It's not that bad, but to each his own. Hard to tell from the video, but it sounds like when my 240 broke off part of the friction plate.
I found a shop too take a look. its definitely in the transmission or clutch. No boost leaks, Engine seems to be in good health. Thank you for the help guys. I will keep you updated.
Took the car to JMS Racing in San Antonio. They confirmed that it was not the clutch, So they cracked open the transmission. What they found was that from a horror story (pics). Needless to say Shep Transmission is doing a build for me. The woes of big power....
