What are your thoughts between these two turbo Kits? STM Top-Mount V-Band Turbo Kit with FP 3786HTZ or AMS 900XP BILLET V-BAND TURBO KIT? Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't do a 3786, unless that was a typo and you 3586.


STM, AMS, and ETS are all really nice turbo kits. AMS probably gets the edge for most complete becomes it comes with a mount/support bracket for the turbo, as well as a large heat shield to put on the fire wall (its also the most expensive IIRC). You'll NEED an aluminum valve cover for whatever kit you get. AMS is also available with a recirculated waste gate if you don't want an open dump. ETS and STM don't provide an option for that, but you could always call them and see if they can do it.


If doing the ETS or AMS, I would do a Precision 5858 or Gen2 5558 with .82 AR Vband hotside.


Really, they're all nice kits, so pick the one you like the most, and feel you're getting the most value from.
