Hub nut torque

Hi everyone,

I am looking for the torque value for tightening the hub nut on a 2014 evo X ?
I know for the 2008 - 2010 models there is a castellated nut and pin. The torque values are 144-176Nm (107-129 ft lbs).

For the 2010+ it's a solid nut that you bend to lock. I don't think the torque specs are the same....
Can anyone help ?

Same torque. However, since the thead size is the same as the 8/9, and torque for the 8/9 is 165ftlbs, I've always torqued them to 165..

Thanks for the info, but are you sure that the bearings and bea ring preloaded are the same ? Why would they change the torque specs between the ix and the x ?
