Cosworth Intake Manifold

Evo X Cosworth intake manifold
Did this manifold ever go in to production? If so did anyone purchase one and what was your opinion?

They're out there for purchase so I'm going to guess they were produced. I've yet to see one on a car but they look legit. Though, I'd think you'd have to be making SERIOUS power to be at the point where you would see big gains from running it.

I've called every where and no one has it. I don't think they make it anymore.

That’s kinda what I figured. If it did get produced, I’m sure it was a low production run. It’s a solid looking intake, I would like to know more about it if can be purchased.

Have you tried The BoomBop Shop? Their website shows they have it in stock.

Blitz made a similar intake. Could contact Evasive and see if they can get it.

Worth talking about though is how much HP do you want to make? The stock X IM works very well into the 700-800whp range.

My thinking was the Cosworth intake was designed to work with their cams. Definitely not looking to make 700whp.

I’ve seen Blitz’s intake and it’s a solid looking design as well but the plenum volume it to large for the hp range I’m planning on. Plus the nearly $2k price tag is to much high.

For your power goals, you don't need a manifold.
