Ralliart engine swap into Evo

I have a pretty much stock 2010 Evolution MR. Its possible I might have have blown my engine. There's a local junkyard here that has a 2013 Ralliart turbo. If I get the long block from them is it swappable to my Evo? Is it pretty straight forward, does everything bolt right up? From what I'm reading it seems like the same engine, with different turbos? Anyone have more info or confirmation?

Awesome. That's good news. The Ralliart engine has 50,000 miles on it. I guess if I put it in I should be doing the timing chain upgrade as well?

If it's a 2013, it already has the revised chain. Although while you have it out, and you want to freshen everything up, might as well.

Update: I did the swap successfully. It was a little harder than me or my mechanic figured. Ran into a badly cracked exhaust manifold too. Had to wait for a new one. Runs Great, only issue is a p0016 error that comes on sometimes at idle, till I clear it. I think it might be the Ecu? Just put a new chain on and checked timing before putting it in. Might go to dealership and see if they can relearn the Ecu.

Nice! Yeah, you need to have the dealership reset the timing chain learned value any time you do the chain. I'd be willing to bet a quick trip to the dealer and you'd be all set. Mine took care of me for $47 but it shouldn't be more than an hour of labor to get it done. I never even went to the lobby to wait.
