15psi Boost issues EVO X. OMNI/ Boost/ Vacuum leak?

So I’m still very new to turbos and I’ve had my Evo for almost a year now, no problems until now. I got a cobb v3 and I put the map 1 on and noticed I’m only make 11-15max psi, I don’t know if I always have been because I haven’t had any gauges till now. My boost gauge on the car says 11-15 psi usually but my OMNI boost gauge says 18 psi? Flashed it back to stock to see if maybe it was the map and nope, it’s the Evo. I’m Seriously puzzled. My clutch is bad, changing that tomorrow, hopefully that’ll give me some boost back since I haven’t been able to put full load on my car because it almost one day to another started to slip bad so it can’t build up much boost I would assume. Ordered a boost tester to look for leaks but in the mean time I’ve changed all clamps and tightened random bolts and look a most if not all the vacuum lines and still no change. Wastegate is fine, so is the electric boost controller. So questions are Why would these 2 gauges be reading differently and I mean I need the clutch regardless but will that hopefully give me some boost back right? And any locations you guys have had boost leaks that maybe I didn’t check? Maybe boost solenoid? Idk.
Thank you in advance.
Also car is stock other than a high flow air filter.

Sounds like you are only able to hit wastegate pressure. Do you have an aftermarket 3port EBC or are you still on the stock solenoid?

so I did have the stock one on when I saw this problem but I had a grimspeed laying around so I threw it on to see if it’d do anything and It did nothing at all so the stock EBC is fine.

Did you change the tune after the swap, and how do you have the 3port connected? The 3 port controls the pressure to the wastegate actuator. The WG's spring pressure is ~15psi. If the 3 port is not connected properly its not able to regulate the boost that hits the WG actuator and you aren't able to go above spring pressure.

Its 100% connected right, and yes I changed the tune back to stock to see if anything changed. I’ve been running stock without the tune but been using just the gauges on the v3 to help me read everything and see what’s going on

*Where is your boost gauge tapped in?
*Is the boost limit pretty exact, or does it fluctuate?
*When you had the 3port connected: port2 ran to WG and port3 ran to turbo compressor?

I wouldn't get too deep into this until you get your clutch swapped and you are able to get consistent pulls to test against. You may want to test voltage to the EBC pigtail. If you are 100% sure ebc is connected right and getting voltage from ecu, then you just have to get an air compressor and start checking everything for leaks when pressurized above the limit you are seeing.

I’ll definitely keep updating, changing a clutch is seriously a bit harder than expected, more time consuming than anything so I should be finished tomorrow with it as long as it doesn’t rain :/ but my gauges are on my Cobb V3
