Stick with stock clutch or upgrade?
I need some help.
I was driving to work today and when I shifted from 3rd to 4th, my clutch pedal got stuck all the way down. I threw it into neutral right as it happened and pulled over. I then was able to bring it back up with my hand, but when I push down on it gets stuck half way. It doesn't sound like it is grinding nor do I hear any funky noises. My first question is:
Do you guys think this is a clutch problem? If so, I am planning to make power on this car, but not anytime soon. Should I stick with a stock clutch or upgrade at this point?
If it is not the clutch, I know that clutch has been beat on, so I still would want to replace it, and if I do replace it with an aftermarket clutch, what would you guys recommend?

This sounds more like the clutch master cylinder failed, it's a common issue. Look under the car on the driver side see if you can see fluid leaking down just in front of the firewall, onto the subframe.
