MAC35 3 port, resistor or no?

Been doing a lot of research and I can't seem to find a definitive answer. Will I need to run a resistor in order to run a MAC 35 3 port valve (same as the AEM I suppose) on an Evo X or no?

I have a Grimspeed 3 port on one of my Evos and a Cobb 3 port on the other, none of which have anything inline on the wiring. But I wanna know specifically for the MAC 3 port.

Thank you

For what it's worth, I was on the same boat trying to figure this out. I tested resistance on both, new mac and old pierburg 3 port, and both were within range without a resistor. I'm running it as is without a resistor and everything is fine. There's others threads of people that are also fine running without additional resistance. I would check your new mac solenoid and see if it's within range of oem/common aftermarket ones. If you get a legit mac, you should be within range no issues.

Due to the mixed reviews I did the same, and ran it with no resistor. No issues to report.

Thank you for your feedback. Hopefully this helps somebody in the future.
