Injector selection an JDM Evo X SST and general advice wanted.

So a friend of mine bought a JDM Evo X SST with a water meth kit, forged out engine, cams, DW fuel pump, etc. What stumped me is that it has a stock turbo and injectors. I suggested he dump the water meth and upgrade the turbo and injectors. The turbo he had no problem with but our local tuners are not a fan of the FIC 2150cc injector I suggested. I've dialled these injectors in on an Evo 7 and seen an Evo 9 with near-perfect idle on pump gas with a stock ECU.
Are big injectors a problem on a stock ECU Evo X?
Is the SST really that big a limitation?
My thinking was, go big and never have to worry about upgrading injectors again.

Not sure about the stock ecu, I run FIC 1250's on my flex fuel MR, so I would think it's ok to run big injectors,. I've ridden in a GSR that run big injectors with 700+ hp and a stock ecu and a tephra flash, and I didn't notice any issues.
The problem with the SST is the torque limitation. On a stock trans your looking at 350 wtq limit. It costs so much to upgrade the trans, 7k for mine including shipping for 500 wtq clutch packs, you need to be sure big power is what you want. Then comes the stock engine safe limit around 400 wtq, I have mine tuned to 355wtq to keep the engine safe till I build it. The MRs take a lot of cash to break the 400 wtq limit, but if money is no issue go for it.

I have an inquiry however erase in the event that not permitted. So I got new injectors that were introduced, and before that the vehicle began no issue. As they were tuning inactive, the fuel injectors remained open in this manner showering fuel inside the chambers. Presently it won't begin pressure for each of the 4 chambers are under 95. Sent in the injectors since they arrived at the resolution that they were all broken. I get perhaps 2, however each of the 4 injectors? I sent them to FIC to get them stream tried and there are no issues and I'm hanging tight for them to send it back with an information sheet. What do I do? Much thanks to you!
