Hello new evo owner and have had issues since I’ve purchased the vehicle I took it to a shop to diagnose a p050b code, rough idle, and stalling they have told me that it had a 2010 rom on it and they changed it to 2012 and that I’m only seeing 12inhg/6psi of vacuum they can’t figure out why it keeps going into limp mode and has the vacuum it does any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Why did it have the 2010 rom? Was it a tephra rom? Mods?

 

Fixed: The vehicle had timing done when I had purchased it in January and the shop the dealer had fix it was struggling to tune it and took about 4 months I don’t know if it was a tephra or not just that the tune file was botched the current shops words the only mods Ik of is Cobb air intake, Cobb 3 port boost controller, and Cobb exhaust cat back or full
