Evo X cover valve baffles

Evo X cover valve baffles

Hi All,

I removed baffles to powder coat the cover and do I need to re-add atf sealer? if so, which one will you recommend?

Personally I did not add any sealer, only red Loctite for the bolts to hold the baffles. I have a ~2000 miles without issues, just pulled the motor to work on another issue and none of my bolts are out of place. I'll be re-powder coating the valve cover again and doing the same thing.

I haven't ever done a X, but on my 9, I did as Eric said. Red Locktite on the bolts and a "scratch" on the bolt and baffle to check for movement over time. I have about 10k miles on mine and the bolts haven't moved at all.
