Pete, it's no surprise to me that TOPSPEED blew up your car. Doug is an incompetent tuner who is not qualified to be working on anyone's car. He's sloppy, and does poor quality work while charging top dollar. His tune on my STi was horrible, and when I had the car retuned by someone who knew what they were doing, they looked at the map that doug had created for the car and said that he was a f*cking moron. The timing was way off, the air fuel ratios were way off, the wastegate duty cycle mapping was WAY off, the list goes on and on. His dyno is garbage, too. Dyno Jet dyno's are inertia based dyno's, not load based like higher quality Dyno Dynamics dynos. They also don't ensure that the front and rear wheels are spinning at the same rates, like a Dyno Dynamics does, which means that your center diff is in jeopardy when running on one. His staff is a joke too, and this guy "Will" screwed up my short throw shifter when installing it. Who f*cks up a short throw shift kit? I would've just put it in myself, but I just bought it, and they were going to be working on my car anyway, so I just let them do it. BTW, "Will" now works at Subaru of Gwinette, here in GA. He's ended up working on my car during a brake job and left the damn cap off of my brake fluid reservoir, spilling brake fluid all over the place while I drove home unknowingly. He also warped the rotors because he drove my car like a wanna be racecar driver and mashed the pedal to the floor during the break in of my new pads. Stay away from Doug/TOPSPEED and Will/Subaru of Gwinette.
