We just ordered ours. All we know is that it is a grey gsr. any other options, we didnt get a choice in the matter. Every dealer in america only gets 1 for the moment, then after the initial shipment they will release more.

The Mitsubishi batter make the price lower, because the New Subaru STi release today in Japan is only about $2k more than previous STi, the only option is Navigation and some HD for Audio. The STi also have some cheaper model, which come with only 17" wheel( The normal STi come with 18" BBS wheels), NO HID (standard on normal STi) and NO Recaro seat. Don't know if this cheaper STi model will come to US. only whirte and blue color avalible on this cheaper STi model.

haha, made you look. But really, the dealer I work at ordered their 1st one. They said they can only get the one, and there are no options. Just some add ons. grey in color, they don't know if it's manual or auto. and didn't say which package it was. they said basically the dealer wants an evo(they get what they get) or they don't. That's how it goes for this prerelease anyway. we will have it sometime at begining of the year. I was told the msrp was from 38-45.
any requests??? pics or anything??

Come on guys, this is general markup because the demand is so high. It will come down, most likely way way down after a year or so, probably sooner. In any case I wouldn't buy one for the first year anyway because you know there will be kinks and few initial recalls.
But seriously, I can see why people would say the IX is a better deal than the X because of the potential difference in price, but you must admit it is mechanically inferior. The X gets around the track FASTER, while still being heavier (and it can loose weight). Also, if you are interested in drag racing, you can always add tons of power (well, we'll see how the new motor goes) and compensate for any straight line deficiencies the X may have to the IX. This is not built with the intent of drag racing though; it is a track car. And, it has already been proven my mitsubishi and independent testers to be faster around a track than the IX, so why complain all the time?
