If you read it's pretty clear that's not what they're asking for them. They're merely trying to solicit pre-orders and won't quote a price until after they discuss options with the potential buyers.

"We currently will take a look at all offers over the manufactures MSRP pricing for these EVOLUTION GSR S."

That irks me.

because you have to put a price! it isnt an option to not put a price on that website... so if they said $45,000, people would think its $45k..... $99k is a rediculious price and anyone who reads through it would know they just put a random price

Why not put $1? That'd get a lot more interest.

i dint say why put in a price?

i said why put in a ridiculous price?

45K is surely more than a GSR sticker will be so if their intention is to get the highest sell price, it doesnt matter if they put in a $1 or $99,999, all i am saying is that if the asking price was closer to what the actual sticker will be, some people, such as myself, would not view this as a lame attempt to extort money for the first few Xs that will hit the shore.

Anyhow, maybe this was some kid filling it in for them and nothing was meant by it, just making conversation

the higher the price, the higher on the list the car goes. Therefore highest priced cars show up as the 1st car...more advertisement, whereas 1$ would be on the bottom of the list.

It is just so they can be at the top of the listing. They used the same general idea with the IX by having one listing for a high price and then using the description line to say they have 7 Evo's in various trim levels, etc...
