what does it matter they are going to be raping everyone at the dealer with 5K+ mark up, so lets say 33K for GSR and 38 k from my dealer for a MR fully loaded, then 5K+ in mark up Damn.... just wait till Jan when they are available and see what you can get it for but if you are worried about price a evo probably isn't for you

dude relax he was just asking... no need to go off and tell him he can't afford it... how do you know what someone can and can't afford?

if anything just wait a few months and by that time it may die down

I'm just say if you look at everything going on the forums , i wanted to give a reality check he obviously wants the car and he does have a evo now. but rule of thumb is that if you need to worry about price its probably to expensive, kinda if you goto a nice restaurant with no prices listed . just figured a real answer would help

That probably will not include any markup on the MR. I bet after markup, fees, taxes, etc...some people will pay close to $50k OTD for a new Evo X MR. Crazy!!

With all this talk of markups I think what you guys are doing is essentially letting the dealers on these forums know that you guys are expecting them and some are willing to pay them.

The MR with SST will be delayed a few months at least. So the dealers only got the
GST 5MT to mark up on. It's really pathetic. I guess the SST would likely go bad
the first year, even after delay of production.

Where did you get your info or are you just talkin out your a$$ because your mouth knows better? Magazines are saying that base prices should increase about 2 grand over 06 models and considering when i got my 9 MR i payed 36. plus a few guys were sayin that they preordered 08 MR's with sst and navi and the dealers quoted them a price of 38,000 something and base gsr's starting at 29,000. I don't know for a fact anything so im just gonna wait and not say crazy amounts. but 50 grand

50k is a bit crazy for an evo, thats stepping in the terriory of other options. i think you'll find the pricing to be similar to the sti, does anyone know when the new sti is coming out?

mitsubishi japan has the loaded GSR with SST (USDM MR with technology package...aka loaded MR) priced at 36K usd from yen conversion...so after import tax, freight, and whatever additional fees...~39-40K for an MR with technology package--MSRP...then you can add your standard title, tax and mark ups to that...just going from Mitsubishi's website for prices...not just pulling 45s and 50s outta my @$$ like dealers and people who don't know any better...

That is a stupid statement. And its your real world answer? In the real world, if that is true, and you are a follower of that statement, then you got your *** raped when you bought one

Its in the eye of the beholder.

If I am willing to pay "X", but if someone else wants to pay more then its obviously worth it to them. Remember this car is mass produced just wait a little for the hype to die down, just like the IX was marked up this car will be to. i don't feel riped off
