Exactly!!!!!...they are gonna go buy an acura or a lexus or something

they should keep these rally cars in the 25k-30k range...i mean even 35k is a high price for most of the people that are interested in these cars

i know I'll never spend that much on a car again...mine at 36k was way too high

But you know what, have to admit she is really hot, but the Subaru is not. In reality, I always thought the 04-05 STI was the most attractive, much more so than the 03 VIII. Have you actually seen the new STI in person, sorry to break your heart cause I know your simply in love with the new Subaru hatchcrap, but all those magazines you love to qoute, also agree with me on the looks of the new STI.

It's a problem for anybody looking at getting an Evo or STI in the next couple years. In '06 I thought they both looked pretty decent all things considered. In '08, it becomes a matter of which one is less ugly. A matter of opinion, of course, but IMO the STI is much better looking than the X. If they could do something about the catfish front end of the new Lancer it would help a bunch. Even then, it looks really Econo-car from the side, more so than the IX.

And it looks like as of '08 the STI is going to take the performance mantle away from X. From the early tests, it may be by a pretty good margin. Back in '06 it was neck and neck, and that's how I'd prefer to see Subaru and Mitsubishi going at it, each trying everything to edge out the other guy. It just looks like Mitsu softened up the X too much, and ended up adding a lot of weight trying to catch up to Subaru in the safety department.

I hope that in a couple of years they polish things up a little on both sides of the fence, so that when I'm ready to sell my STI, I have more appealing options to choose from. As it is, I'm starting to think thoughts like Corvette, 135i, etc.

Think 335i as well. Think M3, carbon roof.

I personally think its a big improvement over the current STI. Everyone says it looks way better in person.

I saw it. It was incredibly lame. How anyone could think it looks better than the 06-07 is very puzzling.

I hated the look of the new STI when they first released promo shots. But The look has grew on me with the final release and a changed front bumper. The hatch portion is welcomed since it holds true to the rally roots.

Edmunds should also test how many bags of grocerys fit in the trunk, considering its a station wagon.
