EVO X vs STI - Tsukuba Lap Times
I bought the Evo over STI for ease of modding, overall more precise steering and handling, the rawness factor, and the 4G63. When did I say I was basing my purchase on bench numbers? In fact, when did I say I was purchasing anything? Oh yeah, I didnt.
This is just history repeating itself...not an excuse to **** on the X

Yes, according to the ever illustrious Car Top Magazine... I'd also be willing to bet that every single one of those faster STI laps came from a special more expensive lower production car such as the Spec C, S201/202.203/204... The Evo has never had an issue lapping Tsukuba faster than any normal STI in just about every test that has been done there. This coming from a former and most likey future Subaru owner.
right, cause there are no mitsu fanbois...
as far as i have seen, the STi community respects the EVO alot more than the EVO respects the STi.
BTW i drive an EVO now, so this isnt' really biased.
Either way, i love the IX's but im not a fan of the X.
The new STi is growing on me.
Yep, I'm not going to freak out over those results. Those are not US spec cars. That's only one track, and the results are very close. The article doesn't even tell you what trims they tested.

subaru is going psycho
