PS- To the guy talking about the paddle shifters not moving with the steering wheel, umm the new Nissan GTR also has stationary paddles why do you ask? Because during a turn you would confuse yourself when the wheel is all the way upside down. Also you get the stick in the middle to change your gears problem solved.
yup, most magazines prefer the paddles fixed to the column and NOT the wheel because the paddles will always be in the same position no matter what direction the wheel is on. ferarri, infiniti/ nissan stick to this

Mitsubishi has, in the past, denied warranty claims on stock VIII and IX transmissions and transfer cases, citing vehicle abuse as the reason.

I'm curious how much some poor bastard is going to end up paying for a new SST unit.

I'm curious as to how they can deny warranty claims on a system completely controlled by the ECU.

Well, the end of the world is near. This is truly a sad day when the Evo X will be a "mom" car. Ouch, that hurts. There goes the exclusivity of the Evo...

I also think Mitsu WANTED an article like this. The woman who wrote the article was INVITED to the press event by Mitsu. You can't just show up at these events. They hand pick editors from car mags/online sites and lifestyle mags/online sites to get a good breadth of coverage for a new car launch. They intentionally had her attend to write an article like this so they could "reach out to our new target audience." Wow...

Enjoy your soccer mom mobile. I didn't say anything sexist, so don't twist it.

So, what's next? Here's my guesses:

1) Britney buys an Evo X

2) Oprah gives away an Evo X to everyone in her audience like she did when the Pontiac G6 launched

3) The women from The View all drive an Evo X

4) They come out with a special edition Hello Kitty pink model in 2010

I can see all the High-schoolers now asking mom- "hey can I have the keys to the Lancer (they're thinking Evo) for a night out with the guys (they're thinking streetracing)"

Oh the humanity- please god don't let them have it
