i did see that, but its more like a trailer. it shows some footage, but wanna see the whole race
guess ill have to wait a bit more than. kinda sad, i thought the ix would do better.
and lmao at the x.
yet someone will chime in on "but it's quieter, smoother, more safe, its evolved" and all that BS

Yeah kind of weird the 06 STI beat the IX. Perhaps it was because the 06 STI started in front and had the edge from the begining. ???
More laps and I'm sure the Evo IX would've passed it.

that's very possible. the STi and EVO IX are so close in performance that it really comes down to driver and track position. with equal drivers the EVO IX should be faster...it's a faster car. but it wouldn't be THAT much faster. whoever starts in front is likely to stay there if there are no major ****ups by either drivers. catching a car is one thing, passing it is another. i've seen plenty of races where the faster car (fastest lap times) still doesn't win the race because they simply have no good passing opportunities.
I've got the entire original video from BM Japan. Typical BM battle.
Interesting - both Evo Xs started off very fast but then seemed to slow down as the race went longer. Did they get hot? No definitive answer to this.. without a Japanese speaker to interpret.
See my site for info on the video.
