Official price released from Mitsu

Well, sort of. At least this is straight from Mitsubishi...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csXBzjtXlA8&feature=user

The guy talking is Michael Evanoff who is the head of product planning at MMNA. I don't think you'll want to watch this whole video because his presentation style is VERY boring. Anyhow, lots of good information about the car straight from the only official source...

Price is listed at 20:58 in the video. He says "below $34K for GSR" and "below $39K for MR". My guess is that means GSR will be $33,995 and MR will be $38,995.

They also list release dates. Feb '08 for GSR and "spring '08" for MR which is rather vague. I guess they still haven't worked out all the bugs on the SST.

Please amend your title. You have absolutely no new information on the actual MSRP. This info has been out for weeks.

Oh, come on Let me have my one second of fame Seriously, this is the FIRST time we've all actually gotten real pricing information straight from Mitsubishi. Every other post until this has been either a magazine speculating or someone on this forum speculating. Now, most of the speculation has been dead on since it's been stated on EvoM about 1,000,000 times the pricing would be $34K and $39K. Now, take it back

Also, official hp/tq ratings are provided...291/300. So, doesn't look like those are changing as some folks were speculating that they would increase by the time the car arrived.

one thing that is disapointing is that the MR is delayed and not a dual launch. So you walk in there you want that MR and they tell you, umm its TBA

anyone know for sure if its going to be out at the same time or is it going to March /April

Oh my its all in the hands of the Groundhog lol

Sorry to burst your bubble... this was from the same conference:

http://www.autoblog.com/2007/12/13/m...r-from-34-000/

And it's not REAL pricing information. WE HAVE NO MSRP!

I just can't shake the feeling that Mitsu is pricing itself out of the market.

Seriously. a mitsu for 40k? (with options I'm sure it'll be north of 40). That's ridiculous.

I wanted a daily driver and thought the sst would do it but now a 335 seems like a much nicer option.

Oh well

My dealer in Fresno sucks, he said they would be getting two in on Thursday, one is already sold the other is for the show floor.

He said $38,000 for the GSR and $42,000 MR

We'll find out the MSRP when we see it in the showroom.
