The gains a probably minimal. A Ti exhaust is generally about weight saving more than anything.

What's the advantage of splitting that exhaust and making the gases make a 90 degree turn?

maybe mitsu got something up their sleeves for 2009? maybe something like the rumored evo coupe/hatch or maybe just the announcement of the possible comeback of turbo eclipse. It's two fo the few reasonable explinations i can come up with considering the masacre of the upcoming evo. I'm still buying it because it suites my life style far better than the last but, I agree with you guys 100%.
