Official Evo X pricing for Midwest

Just got the official pricing for the Evo X from Mitsu

The Evo X (which most probably know) has 291hp and 300lbs torque for the U.S.

base GSR will start at $33,615 MSRP with midwest destination

the aero kit will MSRP for $1,999

sight, sound and spoiler package MSRP is set at $2,000

navi package MSRP is $1,999

so basically, a "fully loaded" GSR will MSRP for $39,613

I hope this helps you guys and gals that are looking at getting a new X. Shoul;d be a nice car, though.

Why haven't they announced the MR price? What's the logic behind waiting?

Mitsu is having production problems with the MR (trans?). My store was supposed to get 12 MRs and now we will only be getting 4. The rest will be shipped later as a 2009 model. Kind of sucks b/c there are alot of guys here that want them. Probably more toward spring time

yea 39,600$ if you want 3 packages,

This kind of post drives me nuts because next someone will be like "OMG 40K, BLAH BLAH BLAH, I can get a 335i for 39,999 all day, blah blah blah"

BUT add navi and sport package and your back up to 49k for that 335i.

If you want a fully loaded car with every available option, your gonna pay for it. base model vettes msrp at 43k too but add all the good stuff and you hit 56k, I know cuz i looked at one. its all relative

I see your point, but I didn't mean topost this in a bad way. The fact that the base Evo X is only about $1,400 more than a base IX is not bad considering the new AWD system, the added safety, and the fact that it is a new model. The same thing goes for a GTS Lancer. If you want all that stuff, go ahead and pay for it, but the base model is priced pretty fair...all things considering.

OMG 40K, BLAH BLAH BLAH, I can get a 135i for 34,900 all day, blah blah blah

If you ask me, the lighter and cheaper 135i represent a lot better performance value than the 335i.

300 horsepower
300 torque
3373 lbs
RWD

Std. features:
LSD
BMW Sport Suspension Calibration
Sunroof
Xenon
Climate Control

^^No standard LSD but:

4 year warranty with everything included(belts, fluids, brakes, pads) except tires
13 speaker logic stereo with digital 7 band equalizer
Cruise control
RFT with pressure sensors
6 airbags (I think)
on board computer(including ext temp, current fluid levels readings)
and a gazillion little details that makes the car a daily comfortable ride
pshhhh did I forgot to say that it gets 20-21mpg city aprox 29mpg hwy? Did I also forgot to say the insurance is cheaper?

Also, the 300hp/300lbtq is way underrated from factory, it is more like 320-330hp(crank)

Carlos

RWD vs. AWD, for those of us in the snow states (CT/NY), RWD isn't much of an option, oh yeah, and the lack of TWO WHOLE DOORS. . .I personally hate the 135i fan club, you can't compare it to an Evo; you can compare a 335xi to an Evo, let's see what's more expensive then!

But I do agree, the 135i looks like a fun car. . .

if bmw makes a 135xi, then threre will be competition. i wonder if a base MR cost more than a fully loaded GSR...
