What about Winter

Does anyone know if there was tests in winter conditions...

I mean here we have about 6-10 inches of snow per week...really sucks but maybe a key for an extra fun with the EVO....(does the SNOW setting is really effective)

Anyone has real experiences in storm condition with their 8 or 9??? I supposed Mitsu didn't spend too much time on that but meybe it's really effective?!?!?

I stored my car in the winter but i can tell you along with numerous posts on here that the VIII and IX are both death traps in the winter with the stock advans.... Snow tires are a must.

Tires will be about your only problem. The 8 and the 9 will go through hell and back as far as extreme conditions. The X will be the same in snow and loose gravel. Flick the steering wheel and then turn the wheel out of the turn and the car will go where you want it to. AWD is fun. I drive up towards Erie, PA in the winter and I have said I will ALWAYS own an AWD car for as long as I live.

evos are AWESOME in snow. You get a very sophisticated AWD system so the only thing you need, as somone pointed out, is winter tires, then you are so far ahead of most poeple out there.

The only thing that will not help you no matter what car you drive is ice, thats all

this thread is a joke, right? there is no more capable car in the snow with the proper tires. and no, they don't just have a snow setting for a gimmick. it's really tested in the snow. the testing for the evo is extensive...
