Thanks for all the support and tips.

We are getting ready to go to the airport in about half an hour. We will do our best breaking the car in, carefully. I am worried about ice and snow, we might end up going skiing in Neveda north of Las vegas, and spend some time in New Orleans. Bottom line 3k miles is no problem as I only have 10k on my other car in 2 years. Most importantly is the pics, once we get to the dealer the pics will come of the Graphite Grey with Aero kit.

I may pick up a 07-08 Lancer bra from the parts dept, to use for the trip, any suggestions other than painters tape?

So far my att usb laptop card is working great, hope I say the same thing in the middle of the country.
