just some random pics from today...
Thanks for the pics. The X's are nice and all but I wonder how many other "TME's" they have lying around? Wonder if this one is even registered (no plates) my all time fav car!!
Surprised someone hasnt stolen that TME yet. It has been there since before the VIII was released in the US. If you guys want one bad, theres one for sale in Washington, I believe its even listed on EvoM.
All of those Evos in that one pic look like MRs, maybe a fleet to help calibrate the SST?

I just realized it's not a TME lol. All this time I thought it was a TME, until I looked at the pics I took back in 2002....
it had TME seats tho lol.
Just in case you guys missed the pics I took back then, here are some:
Evo 7

Here are some VIs.

edit: this is just a VI not TME. But still lol.

If you want my thoughts, I believe they are "pre-production" cars that arebeing used to evaluate the final calibration and software for the SST transmission. Last I heard, final specs had not yet been determined, especially for the US market. Thats why every magazine article you read that tests the MR with the SST states it starts to run ragged in the upper RPM range, and its launching isnt quite up to what the production car will be.
Just a test fleet, those cars will never see a dealership floor and will most likely end their lives in a crusher. Interesting that the VI hasnt met its demise yet.

Amazing machine!
