EVO-X in Connecticut
Reading is Fundamental...so do it. If the only evo in this region is driven here by a 55 year old guy just to train technicians, why the hell would it be in the showroom? didnt you see the first post where i was pissed that the manager made me drive there and i couldnt find it in the show room or on the lot?
get a clue. i also posted that i hang out there all the time. so obviously im cool with them to get the inside look behind the scenes. i clearly posted that he took me around back to one of the rear bays and it was in there. if you're so damn sure its bs, send me a pm and meet me in groton anyday before thursday so i can prove it to you since you know so much. because i guarantee you if you call there or even go in there asking they will all tell you they dont have one, because technically they dont. its not there to be advertised.
and that goes for any evo owners close by the vicinity of groton. pm me if you wanna get in to see it. but i dont think i can get in there everyday like a show and tell, so if we can coordinate something for one day, it should work.

ok people i got pics!! i got two with me in the photo to prove to any other butt clowns who want to tell me other wise about there being one there. im trying to see if i can get a video too so yall can see me go from the evo-X to the front where there is a huge sign that says "GIRARD Mitsubishi." and again i asked and they said that it is the only one on the east coast. which means that any EVO-X's that are here (like Noize from Tennessee) were purchased from the west side of the U.S. and either driven or shipped. next week they arrive at dealerships here in the northeast. i cant say much for the mid-atlantic dealers or southeastern dealers. now as soon as i figure out how to minimize them to get them on here.......

I just swung by on my lunch break to take a peak. This is the ONLY one on the east coast that I know about or that anyone is talking about. Like it was stated it's for the mechanics to learn about the new cars.
First impression is that the car is much softer looking, but very nice looking. Its not as edgey as the VIII or IX but it's still nice. The interior is a great update, one of the reasons why I went with my current ride was because of this. The X there is a base GSR without the nav and all that which makes the stero/dash look a lil better. The seats are insanely better than my STi's and there's def. more buttons to play with. Overall refinement has taken a giant leap over the last two EVOs.
My only complaint so far is the high belt line on these cars. It makes it look just heavy having such big doors.
The salesman said they weren't expecting any for sale until the end of Feb. I'd recommend going down and just asking to see the X. They're extremely friendly and nice and will walk you right back there to take a look.

thanks for going there to verify and back me up. it seems that because people see that AMS and other shops have one, they think they are already sold here. but anyhow, what time were you there today? i got there at 12:20 then left and came back around 3:30.
i agree on the high belt line. im 5'7" and the pic of me in the driver seat makes me look like a midget!
to all else, the car is leaving today.
