Mitsubishi To Stop Delivering X's As Of May???
the 08 mr line has been canceled due over heating issues with the tranny. Not much time left for the 08 's anyway. So i think they will come out as 09 later in this year. But this is what i think. The cancelation is fact.
Not calling you a liar, but where did you hear this from? And if its true, then its probably the best anyway. '09s will be coming out soon anywhere.
You misunderstand me.
I'm not talking about NEVER selling the X again. I'm talking about the last of the 2008s!! In the fall marks a new year (2009).
So, my question again is: Will the X stop shipping to the US for the 2008 models in May and pick back up for 2009 later??

^You're basing your information off a dealer? I just talked with my dealer on Tuesday and he said they will be coming out in a few months. So I think its safe to say nothing is a fact yet, unless it came from Mitsu HQ
Fact is that production has been cancelled for the MR. They'll probably officially release it for 2009 in my opinion. Not because of overheating or anything else as these are not facts. Again, I dont speak for the entire country, only the northeast region as this is the region where I work (for Mitsubishi by the way duh!).
Again, people stop making stupid claims unless you actually know what you're talking about please. May is the last month the vehicle will be on my grid for orders. Yes, they are making the 08 Evo GSR a LIMITED PRODUCTION! Does not mean that I wont be able to order 09 Evos come JUNE!
PEOPLE, STOP MAKING ASSUMPTIONS PLEASE! AND STOP PASSING BAD INFO SINCE MOST DONT KNOW THE FACTS!!!

this what i sad no?
about the tranny , everybody knows. why else they would cancell it? they will fix it in the next couple monts and probably they will come out in the fall or sooner with them as 09 models. whats wrong what i'm saying? but you right i stop posting as you wish.

Im not asking you to stop posting, just stop turning your opinions and assumptions into facts. Dont claim that this is the reason why they have cancelled production on them as you dont know that to be true. I work for mitsu and I dont even know that to be true. No offense please, just dont make such claims.
everybody calm down.
Mitsubishi is not stopping the production of ANYTHING.
There is always a lag time from when the car is released to the time its actually readilly available, now add to it the 08 vs. 09 model years
1. MR delivery dates to US have been delayed-- we all know that
2. GSR, perhaps the first batch that we are now seeing is the only 08 batch and then starting with next deliveries, it will be an 09 (i hope that the person who started this thread meant this)

It's very much in MMNA's best interest to make sure that the SST works flawlessly, since, if US consumers remain true to form, it will constitute a vast majority of Evo X sales. I'm guessing that once SST MR's become available we'll see a ratio of 5:1 if not higher of SST versus manual sales.
