someone post a MBC install

I heard there are 2 boost controllers. where is everyone splicing in and what are they doing with the extra stuff from the other controllers.

I installed an AEM tru boost and what I did was I took off the hose to the stock wastegate and the hose to the pipe (which are connected via a T) and i zip tied them away in case I wanted to go back to stock when software comes out for the car. I dont know if tuning software will be able to tune off the stock solenoids efficiently or not, but I figured mine as well leave it easy to revert back in case of.

For an MBC, all you would do is pull the hose off of the pipe, then pull the hose off the wastegate. theres a vacuum T connecting those 2 hoses. ZIp tie them away. Then hook up the MBC using the pipe as a pressure source and connect the other part to the wastegate. 98% of MBC's will need the Bottom port (from the knob) connected to the vacuum port and the Side port (from the knob) connected to the wastegate. TurboXs is one example that I know does NOT do it like this. They are backwards. but forge, Hallman, etc... all do it the way I first explained

this is probably a stupid question but how do i now where the setting sould be at?

Um... I think a boost guage is deff required for this.. otherwise you wont know what boost you running.
