Uhmm... I am very confused. The MR is significantly slower on the 1/4 mile times, trap speed, acceleration from 0-60(by the way by far) and the slalom, then the MR brakes a little better and ultimately does the road course better.
I think that other than the better equipment the MR is an underachiever when compared to the GSR.
Had Mitsubishi produced a 3200-3250 lbs Evo X and I bet that they would sell 10 times better. Releasing the Evo X with nearly 3600lbs not only hurt the performance but it also allowed the STI to step on Mitsubishi's toes.
