not saying you ever really need to go that fast, but 145mph top speed is pretty low.

Have you tested it at the track to make a claim like this... Just because a dyno shows the drop at the track it could act differently.

Once the car is tuned, it will make power all the way to redline. Buschur was seeing continuous power being made even without a tune and some bolt-ons. This won't be an issue at all.

This is a know fact.


On the stock turbo, yes it will. Even though when its tuned it keeps making power, testing has shown that shifting at 7-7.2KRPM results in the best ET and traps speeds on the track when using a stock turbo.

Dont believe me, go talk to people in the Drag racing forum i.e. Warrtalon and others.

In this class of vehicle, for that amount of money, it should have been standard issue. They had the perfect opportunity with the new model.

There's not a guy in the world who wouldn't want and be willing to pay for a 6th overdrive gear for highway cruising. How much could it have possibly cost?

They just didn't want the manual to be quicker/faster than the TC-SST.

It's all about marketing.

They better have that TC-SST working perfectly when it appears or Mitsu is going to take a big hit in the crotch.

You show 62.1 at 2900 rpm in 5th and I have 3000rpm at that speed.

The only difference I see is you are using tire diameter and I'm entering a tire size (245/40-18) so, obviously, the programs are a little different.

Anyone have a real car? Can you see a 100 rpm on your tach? What is 62.1mph in RPM. LOL

these speeds per gear its real or in the speedoo? this is important...

maybe im wrong.. but this car is too short, you must change the gears to many times and this lose TIME.
and the worst thing is that you must spend to much gas doing a trip with it..
high rev all the time...

maybe who have the car can give us your opinion!
