How's the X in snow?

Now that the East Coast has had the Evo's for a few weeks now, can anyone tell me how well the X preformed in the snow? By snow I don't mean a dusting I mean three or four inches.

not really a fair question since i doubt most of the east coast buyers put on snow tires.

the stock tires supposedly suck in the snow.

Put the right tires on it and anything short of a low-slung sports car will be good in the snow.

****ty on stock performance tires.

AWESOME with snow tires.

Really it's a stupid question as this has been covered a million times on previous evos and the current one. It's not really the car that decides on how well it does it's the tires!

It can be quite dangerous with the stock tires. Once the car starts sliding and fills the tread with snow, it just starts accelerating with no control. I was in Tahoe the past few days and while coming out of Northstar Resort in the morning with a thin layer of packed scraped snow, the car just started sliding for about 200 yards down a small grade as the main entrance to the resort empties onto the highway. Luckily I had a green light because I slid right out into the highway with no control. I think the only way to save it would have been to pull the ebrake and spin the car 180 degrees and get on the gas to stop the car from sliding down the hill.

As everyone else says, I'm sure the car would be an animal in the snow with the right tires. Just be careful in the snow with the stockers.

On the bright side I went up to tire rack and all season tires are really not to badly priced. Must be a popular size....
