48 hours in the hands of Buschur Racing, 102 whp gains.

It's only been 48 hours, we've been hard at work. More development on the car coming next week. We have the front fascia off of the car now to start work on the FMIC. It's been a long well rewarded 2 days so far.

Very impressive gains when you compare where we started just 48 hours ago with this car. We have gained 102 whp at 7,000 rpm and 81 ft lbs of torque at 7,000 rpm.

The peak number gains are 81 whp and 25 ft lbs.

The peak torque numbers have not gained much because the peak boost is very close (within a pound) of the factory 22-23 psi peak.

I am very impressed so far. Really need some tuning software to really wake the beast.

In 48 hours we have gone from bone stock to now having our BR 3" True Dual catback exhaust, BR upper i/c pipe, BR airfilter kit, BR 3" offroad pipe and BR manual boost controller on the car.

Check out the gains on the dyno sheet.

fast work! How do these gains compare, on your dyno, to a IX with the same parts?

The car is making more HP than an EVO8 or EVO9 would at this stage of modification.

There are pictures of all the parts in the other thread on the car, it's in Engine/turbo/drivetrain of the EVO X section.

The car is very impressive so far. It seems the power comes very easy and from mods I didn't expect. The cat on the car is very good. I am guessing that you will be very-very hard pressed to find an aftermarket cat that flows as well as the stock one does. Same story on the downpipe, nicely designed piece.

I am saying that the stock cat is good but it did have a 17 whp loss in the upper mid range and 8 whp up top, but that's not bad on a 300 whp car. With some tuning in the midrange I think that the losses across the board might come down to less than 10 whp at this level with the stock cat.

I'll be much happier when we can eliminate the CEL for the offroad pipe.

I'm simply shocked at the results!! Good job guys! You may change my opinion of the 4B11 after all.

Can't wait for "Stage 2" dynographs!

shiv mentioned that he also thought the stock cat looked to be very well flowing. awesome to hear independent opinions from 2 highly knowledgeable tuners say the same thing, and this time buschur has the numbers to prove it too

I don't think any software has been released by anyone yet.
