Frisco is very well populated now. I'm actually thinking of buying a house around that area in the next year or two.

Rosy Palm and I are very familiar with each other... we have a long standind working relationship. I'm going to be having myself for the next 7-12 months anyway.... well allllll righty then

This wont be the first time that I've bought something that far exceeded what was necessarry and I had to apologize for it later... and then she later came around to saying that she is glad that we got it and she is sorry for giving me a hard time. She was grinning at me as we were driving the X. She can tell that we're going down this road again some day.

As far as the AYC comment... I didn't give it hell, it was just an observation as I took it for an easy test drive. We hit a tight 90 deg turn that I know well... I used to live near the dealership. The salesman did say that the graphite grey one on the corner has seen triple digits already and he doesn't exactly like it. He even said himself that he would try to get me a brand new one with no miles on it when I was ready to buy one... that's what he would want if he bought one. The thing is, people will buy one with miles... they already bought one of the blue X's yesterday with miles and some markup...hell people will buy the new STi's sold down the street for $39K. Oh well.

i preped my wife after the concept X came out. she loved our 8 and 9 especially being a four door since we have a little one. it is always hard justifying new expenses with the ladies, but i make the bacon so the X made it to our home. the wifey likes it much better than ct9a since it is more "grown up". taking the trip to TAS this year definitely helped out to make the decision final.

I wish that my wife loved our old Evo IX. She cried a little bit when I got rid of the old BMW M Coupe... she wasn't sad at all when we sold the Evo, just felt bad for me. The old Evo IX attracted too much negative attention, that was a major factor in the decision to sell it. The other was the trouble that I could get into with it. The east coast sucks compared to the west coast. Too many straight roads, no mountains, and too many **** cops.

Say hello to Palomar Mtn with the X for me. I miss my old Paly fix every weekend.

I used to live in Quantico...I would visit D.C. every now and then. Gotta love states where radar dectors are illegal.

I loved SoCal where once you got to your favorite mountain road, your rider/sportscar network would let you know if there was a CHP piggy lurking ahead. That is nice.... then they resort to airplanes... those bastards! (That was the only way I got nabbed with a silly ticket.) I talked to Mr. Ticket and he dismissed that ticket for me... once again, I miss SoCal.

I don't. DC is much better for me, but then again, that's my home.

Socal was weak. Too much traffic and plenty of money floating around..

Yep, gotta be real careful driving around here. It's not often you find a friendly cop or one willing to let you off with only a warning.
