Are there any facts on how many they will produce per year and for how long? I just got a new car but I pretty much like to get an MR in a couple of years or so.

Let me guess, he also told you that he was the biggest evo dealer in the country.

Dude 16yr old and wanting an evo....not gonna happen. First off you been driving for a couple months...you will wreck it most likely. Secondly first ticket you get (being in an evo it will probably be big) the insurance will drop you like nobodies business. Thirdly I assume parents are paying for it...hope you know what upkeep costs on this car. Fourth, if you ever decide to mod and get a credit card you will be in so much debt by the time your 18 you will be screwed forever. Fifth...I dont care if it has 20 airbags..16yr old with friends and bad influances will not save you at over 100mph.

Okay now to your question...what was it again...oh yea. The dealer is so full of bs he probably stank. It isn't limited production and he was trying get one over on you because your young. Wait until the car does down...there is really nothing special about them its just this is the first batch. Order one from Socal and pay shipping and you will still be at MSRP. I myself wouldnt buy the first year evo. Yea they are nice but their are already little things that are showing up. Come 09 I am sure their will be revisions if need be.

^ I've had quotes for rims at $60 per wheel ($240 total), this depends on size & color(s) of course.

I can't believe someone is actually having to make a decision between a Lancer and an EVO Get serious.

This thread is rediculous and this kid is a moron. It needs to be locked, anyone who can actually buy an evo knows better and doesn't need this thread for referance. 16yr olds shouldn't even be able to drive. Let alone beautifull sharp deadly machines like evos!
