Some of the new Evo X parts in the works...
Thanks for the support, guys!
We're getting ready to have the parts readily available to the public, however, I'm still putting some miles on the car (had 190 on it when we built these parts) to make sure that everything works without hiccups.
I've now got 580 miles on the X, and am going to log about 200 more tonight on the car (aimless driving--various throttle input, etc.). I knew that the test pipe with 02 would throw a "Service Engine Soon" light, being directly in the stream, but wanted to see how often, and what the ECU would do when it saw the problem.
Now that that's been figured out, I corrected the rear sensor reading, put another 150 miles on it, and am going to take it out for a long drive to make absolutely sure that our customers don't have issues down the line.
It really sucks to have to take this long, but I don't want issues with our parts once their on customer cars. Please understand why we're working at this slowly--yet surely. ;-)
Believe me, I want nothing more then to progress with this car, make some "fun" (read "insane") power out of this car and find out what the limits of the stock hardware are. I'm not one for "patience" but when other people's cars are on the line I have to excercise restraint.
